Directional Boring:
Patton Construction provides directional horizontal boring specifically designed to minimize the impact on natural and man built surroundings. We have a wide variety of directional boring machines designed to meet a multitude of applications. We employ the latest underground technology to meet the increasing demand for drilling and trenchless installation. Our state of the art equipment allows us to install thousands of feet of pipeline, with shorter completion times and lower costs.
Gas Pipeline and Services:
Patton Construction has decades of experience in providing full service gas and pipeline installation. We are capable of working with plastic or steel gas piping and have the equipment and training to perform heat fusion, electrofusion, and mechanical joint pipe joining and fitting. We are qualified to perform both high and low pressure steel main tap repair, natural gas leaks and equipment failures. We install new mains and services, whether it be trenching, excavating or boring.
Bare Steel and Cast Iron Pipeline Replacement:
Old bare steel and cast iron pipelines are starting to erode throughout the U.S. Patton Construction has been an integral part in helping our local gas companies in updating the old bare steel and cast iron pipe and replacing it with new more durable plastic pipe. Our highly trained crew members replace the old gas pipelines and run new service lines to individual homes and businesses. We handle all projects from beginning to end, including complete restoration and clean-up.
Hydrovac Excavation:
Hydrovac excavating uses high pressure water to emulsify soils and a large diameter vacuum hose to remove the emulsified materials. This provides Patton Construction with a non-destructive way to safely locate utilities in the excavation area. By using our hydrovac trucks, we can install more pipe and complete more service repairs on a daily basis. Our hydrovac excavating equipment can also be used to clean up on directional boring jobs, excavate light pole bases, telephone poles and assist in many other types of exaction.
Water:
Patton Construction provides full service water pipeline installation and repair and replacement. With decades of experience, we use the latest technologies to install new and repair existing product. With a wide array of sophisticated equipment, we are capable of localizing leaks, therefore minimizing the impact of needed repairs. We have worked with the most current materials used in the industry and are familiar with most older materials. Often, when replacement of a line is necessary, this can be accomplished by directional boring, minimizing the disruption of the surrounding areas. Emergency repairs can often be completed in less than 24 hours.
Sewer:
Patton Construction is the logical choice for your sewer repair needs by using sophisticated sewer cameras, including a lateral launch. The lateral launch gives us the ability to access your sewer lateral from the sewer main. By using the lateral launch camera, we are able to see a clear view and location of the specific sewer problem. Hydrovac excavation can be employed, as well, to pinpoint and identify problems. Our equipment and technology takes the guesswork out of sewer repairs.
Septic:

Electrical Conduit:
Patton Construction installs underground electrical conduit to meet a wide variety of applications. Our directional boring capabilities allows us to install new lines under existing infrastructure to meet new or expanded electrical demands. We have extensive experience in the excavation and installation of concrete encased electrical ductbanks. We also have experience with a wide variety of piping material including galvanized steel, PVC and HDPE. Our project managers have immense experience in working on commercial and industrial sites, and are adept at working in complex construction environments. We specialize in employing our special capabilities to present new solutions to old problems.
Telecom/Fiber Optic Conduit and Cable:
Patton Construction has extensive experience in telecommunications work. We service clients and institutions and projects of all sizes. We can install conduit or cable by directional boring, trenching, plowing, or traditional excavation. We can install cable in new or occupied ducts. We can work with your aerial contractor on jobs that require both aerial and underground work.
Utility Locating:
It is very important to contact Indiana 811 locating service before any digging project is started, however, they only locate public utilities, not private utilities. At Patton Construction we have the equipment and trained personnel to locate those private utilities for our customers. We have a variety of equipment including advanced beacons and signal inducing products to help our trained crew accurately identify the position and depth of most utilities. We can physically locate utilities using our hydrovac excavators lowering the risk of damage to your private utilities.
General Excavation:
Patton Construction can help you with your excavation needs. We have backhoes, trenchers, skid steer loaders and dump trucks to perform a variety of different services. With our laser instrumentation and our highly trained personnel, we can perform demolition, clear and level sites, remove stumps, load and haul debris and many other excavation related projects.
Patton Construction has a Department of Transportation certified welder on site with MIG and stick welding equipment available for all your steel pipeline welding and fabrication needs. With years of experience, we can safely and effectively perform most pipeline welding and fabrication, both in our shop and on your site.
